Petals & Paper: a half day retreat at Rose Valley Farm Flowers

£50.00

Saturday 5th July, 9.30am - 1.00pm

At Rose Valley Farm, Mabe Burnthouse, Cornwall, TR10 9JF

Join Sarah from Rose Valley Farm Flowers and Hannah from Journal For Joy in this peaceful half day retreat, designed to help you escape the hustle and bustle, savour the magic of summer and feel restored.

What’s involved:

For the first part of the retreat you’ll mindfully wander through the flower garden with Sarah, enjoying time amongst the blooms and picking your favourites to make a bunch to take home.

After putting your flowers in water and pausing for a cake and refreshments break, you’ll then begin your workshop with Hannah – a guided nature journaling session designed to help you practice lighthearted creativity and find joy in this special season. An A5 Journal For Joy journal is included in your ticket price.

There will be opportunities for you to share and discuss your thoughts and journal entries with others in the group, so you can find moments of connection with likeminded people too!

What you get with your ticket:

  • A pick-your-own flowers experience with Sarah

  • A bunch of flowers to take home

  • Cake and refreshments

  • A 1.5 hour guided journaling workshop with Hannah

  • An A5 Journal For Joy journal to take home

Need-to-know info:

No prior journaling or flower-picking experience is necessary. This session is accessible for all experience levels – but please note that you will need to be able to walk around on uneven ground on the farm.

Please wear footwear and clothing suitable for the weather (including a hat if it’s sunny!), and bring along any of your favourite pens and pencils (although coloured pens will be provided too).

We plan for most of the workshop to be held outdoors but if the weather is wet, we have a sheltered space for our journaling session. The flower-picking will still go ahead in the rain, unless the weather is particularly stormy and unsafe, in which case we’ll let you know at least 48 hours in advance and will offer a rescheduled date or a full refund.

Once you book a ticket you’ll be added to the list and we will email you with parking info and further instructions a couple of days before the event.

Please email hannah@journalforjoy.co.uk if you have any questions about the retreat.

We hope to see you there! 🌸✍️🌿
